My friend, Kit, inspires me in so many different ways. Back in PO101, he RAVED about HDR photography. I looked at an HDR and thought…”Well, that’s okay.”
It wasn’t until recently that Kit really developed some really strong compositions with his HDR photography. In a wedding photo he showed me, the mariachi band was almost moving about on the page. You just wanted to touch it!
This week, I really wanted to get my feet wet and try it out myself. I didn’t have the money for the software, but a few online tutorials helped me. My first try didn’t come off the page like his, but the tonal range is amazing! Outside the window I can actually see the sky; before, the window was all whited out.
HDR is amazing, and I really want to get into it! Whenever I need some inspiration, I just think of some of my friend’s photos…by the way, he needs to get a website up sometime with his photos! >:(
